Lets play Ketchup..(hehe get it....catch up...I crack myself up)

OOohhhh wow. Its been a while since I posted.

Well Christmas was uneventful, and after FINALLY getting home (after getting stuck in conneticut, and then visiting family in New Jersy) I had lots of fun on New Years and such.

Well school starts on the 20th so I have about another week of nothing to do. Which is ok. I taught Zach (my loverly dog) how to run beside me while i'm biking. He took to it pretty nicely, but still once in a while forgets that he's attached to me and stops to sniff something, causing me to almost fly over the handlebars. I'm still working on that part. Biking with him is fun though because he gets a workout, and so do I.

I've been having trouble with the parentals lately, and they've been tightening the leash, but I got a job at DSW (a shoe warehouse), so their particularly happy about that. I work there now for 9 bucks and hour, and I get 30% of all shoes in the store. It'll give me something to do at least.

In other news, I've been having trouble in my love life, and just recently broke up with my BF, so now i'm single and ready to have some fun! Of course after having an excuse to eat loads and loads of icecream. >.<

So New Years Resolutions?
1. Loose lots of weight/get into shape/eat right
2. Get a well paying job (DONE!)
3. Get outside more, and take Zach on more walks and bike rides
4. Audition for the GMU orchestra
5. Move on and find a new BF

I wanna Hippopotomus for Christmas....uhh jk.

If you wanna know what to get me for christmas I made my list public on Amazon, so you can get your ideas from there. Just search for my list using Jcarrc@gmu.edu.

A few notes to add to the list.
-The boots someone is probably already getting me....
-The soundtrack someone also may be getting me....

But other than that, have at it!

SORRY! I've been so busy!

AHHH sorry guys!

I've been so busy with school, and work lately that I haven't had time to breathe, let alone post. I've been working hard, but I dont know how i'm actually doing in my class. My professor seems to have a lack of knowledge in the area of what he's doing. >.< He's really smart, where he knows random facts about history, that no one would ever know, but he doesn't know when he set due dates for things, and he completely forgets about homework assignments, and things like that. I'm hoping that I get a good grade, but that's looking less and less likely as time goes on. I just have to hope that the website I'm making will be good enough to make up for some of the mistakes i've made in earlier papers.

I can't wait till thanksgiving. This year we're changing it up and heading to New Hampshire with my dad's side of the family. I've missed my cousins terribly, and am so excited cuz I get to see them more than twice a year this time! So next week i'll be working on my website, and going to New Hampshire, so I probably wont post for a while again.

Love you all!

So I survived my trip to DC, and rode the metro all by myself!

I hate riding the metro, just so you know. Mostly because I'm scared that i'm going to miss a stop, or be on the wrong train....you get the point. But I survived and I had a great time!

Finds out we had to go to the National Gallery of Art. I went there when I was in 3rd grade, but now I get to apreciate it more, because I'm older and I actually understand what's going on lol. I had a lot more fun in the east building than the west building. The west building is more of the old fashioned portraits, and sculptures, and then east building is more of the newer, abstract pieces. And I'm sorry but Abstract, beats random portraits any day.

I found Nathaniel when I got there (he's a friend I made in my last class.) Now I kinda like Nathaniel, so we went around the museum together, and had a lot of fun looking at all the paintings and messing around with my camera. Though I didn't get to take many pictures because 80% of the artwork you can't take pictures of. If you want to see the pictures, go check out my facebook (Jenn Carr).

So all in all I had fun, but now I have to buckle down and write a paper about what I noticed and what I learned thats due on Monday. [sarcasm]horray papers...[/sarcasm]

See ya!

School is in Session Once Again....

-sigh-

I have to do homework again! Nooooooo -cries-.

Lol the class is fun though. I love my professor, though he is in no way better than Prof. GP. He's a history major, but he's not boring like most professors! We were talking about art today, and he was telling us all this intresting information about the Mona Lisa, and David, and also about the paintings in the Capitol!

Tomorow I'm headed off to some museum in DC. I don't remember the name, but I'm going with the whole class. HORRAY METRO! Here's hoping I don't get mugged. Ugh and I have to write a paper this weekend. >.< Busy week! But I promise I'll have pictures of the museum!

After the Break....

Ok, As far as I know my computer is back up and running. Wow that was annoying though. I lost everything on my computer, except my school work. I was smart enough to save all my school work on a portable hardrive, so that I didn't loose it. Right now i'm on my break from school, I get 2 weeks off before I start my next class (i'm on my second week). Thing's have been pretty cool though, and I'm surviving.

I've been planning on making a cello stand for me, because I've been playing to much not to have one. So I think I'm gonna make one myself, but now I just have to figure out the details of it. So thats what I think i'm going to do this week. Well that, and cleaning the house for my mom.

I'll be around, trying to post while I can!
